We are now Eastern Connecticut Savings Bank

Eastern Savings Bank is now Eastern Connecticut Savings Bank!

As the internet and use of social media continues to grow, it has become increasingly difficult, and ever more important, to distinguish yourself. We want to be sure those searching for Eastern Savings in Connecticut, find us and that there is no misunderstanding. To that end, we are changing our name to Eastern Connecticut Savings Bank! 

This new name reflects our roots and our continued commitment to eastern Connecticut and eliminates any potential confusion with other banks that have Eastern in their name. We know change isn’t easy and want to assure you that this change was made after careful consideration and with the approval of the Connecticut Department of Banking. We are and will remain an independent mutual institution. 

So what’s changing?

You will begin to see our signage reflect our new name and our new logos will begin to appear on your statements and marketing materials. As you can see, not too much change here!

Our new web address is bankeasternct.com . We ask that you begin to use and bookmark this address as soon as possible 


What’s not changing? 

Online Banking & Bill Payment Service:

Other than the web address you use to access our online banking and bill payment services, there are no changes and no need to update anything!


Mobile Banking

If you have downloaded our App, you will be prompted to process an update. Once updated, you’ll see there are no changes in access or service! Our mobile icon remains unchanged as well.

ATM/Debit Card

You may continue to use your Eastern ATM and/or debit cards and when they reach their expiration date, you’ll receive one that reflects our new name and logo. No need to change anything! 

Printed Checks

You may continue to use your printed checks as usual. When it’s time to re-order, your new checks will come with our new name and logo on them. 

No change to your Certificate of Deposit (CD) or their rates or terms!  

No need to change any existing Passbook! 

No change to direct deposits and automatic payments! No change to your accounts or account numbers! 

No change in our banking locations, hours or contact numbers! 

Most importantly, the people you’ve come to know and trust will continue to serve your banking needs!
